WEMU To Broadcast MLK Day Event

Ypsilanti, MI – WEMU will broadcast the keynote address of the EMU President's luncheon on MLK Day, January 19th, at 1pm, live from the Ypsilanti Marriott. The keynote speaker is the first African-American woman to win a Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Suzan Lori-Parks. Parks won the Pulitzer in 2002 for her play "Topdog/Underdog". Parks currently directs the Dramatic Writing program at the California Institute of Arts.
