Major changes will take place this Sunday, May 1st at The Ride in Washtenaw County.
Most of the bus route names and numbers will change. The plan is to make the service more frequent and direct for riders.
Integrated Marketing Coordinator Don Kline says assistance will be offered in person during the transition. Employee ambassadors will be wearing an "Ask Me" button so riders with questions can get information before boarding. Areas such as Pittsfield and Scio Townships will see new bus service.
This is the largest expansion The Ride has seen since 1979.
