Plans for an extended stay hotel in downtown Ann Arbor should clear their last hurdle tonight. Ann Arbor City Council will consider the site plan and development agreement for a nearly 90-thousand square foot building at Huron and Ashley.
The project includes preserving the art moderne facade of the old bus station. The rest of the Greyhound station and the Ann Arbor Area Convention and Visitors Bureau building will be knocked down to make way for the development.
The 13 million dollar proposal includes restaurant and retail space on the ground floor and five floors of hotel space.
