City Of Ann Arbor Receives $300,000 Grant To Help Build A Universal Access Playground

Ann Arbor Rotary Club

The city of Ann Arbor has received a $300,000 grant for a Universal Access playground at Gallup Park.

The Michigan Natural Resources trust has provided the funds to create the playground that will accommodate all children including those with disabilities. The project will include water and sand play areas, a sensory garden and adaptive swings.

Work will begin next year but the majority of the construction will take place in 2017.

The Ann Arbor Rotary Club is leading the project.
