A Marines Corps captain helps EMU student Stephen Elugbemi through crunches.

Eastern Michigan University hosted a physical training workshop on campus today to give the public a glimpse of how military personnel train to fight for our country.  It's all part of activities leading up to Veteran's Day this Wednesday.

The twenty-year old stopped by the Bowen Fieldhouse to experience just how tough you have to be to make it to the military.   Stephen said the drills were tough but its nice to know what other people go through to fight for our freedom.  He added that he now has even more respect for our military personnel.

The Army and Navy were also present at the event.
