Cold and snowy weather has made driving in the Washtenaw County area challenging.
Jim Harmon is Director of Operations for the Washtenaw County Road Commission. I spoke to him about local road conditions and efforts to keep them as safe as possible and what drivers can do to keep themselves safe as well.
He is reminding area motorists to practice "simple driving behavior" and be aware of local weather conditions, slow down, and leave plenty of space between your vehicle and the one in front of you in traffic.
