Four Candidates Remain In Search For Ann Arbor Administrator

  It's down to the final four for the Ann Arbor city administrator's job.

The names of the four finalists for the city administrator job in Ann Arbor have been released, and the public will get a chance to meet them at aspecial reception April 14th:

   *Thomas Couch:  County Manager for Bulloch County, Georgia

   *Paul Fetherston:  Assistant City Manager for the city of Asheville, North Carolina

   *Howard Lazarus:  Director of Public Works for the city of Austin, Texas 

   *Christian Sigman:  County Administrator for Hamilton County, Ohio

Ann Arbor MayorChristopher Taylor says he feels good about them.

"I think we have four outstanding candidates, any of whom would serve the city well, and I am looking forward to meeting them."

There will be a series of internal interviews, and the Ann Arbor City Councilwill hold a public interview session on Saturday, April 16th.

The new administrator will replace Steve Powers, who left last November.
