Debbie Dingell

There was a groundbreaking ceremony Monday at the former Willow Run Bomber Plant in Ypsilanti Township which will soon be a center for driverless vehicle testing, the American Center for Mobility.

Among the elected officials on hand for the ceremony was 12th District Congresswoman Debbie Dingell.  She says the facility will be a great step forward for Michigan and the auto industry.

The American Center for Mobility is located at the former Willow Run site in Ypsilanti Township designed for research, education, testing and product development.

The American Center for Mobility is a joint initiative that includes the State of Michigan, the University ofMichigan, and Ann Arbor Spark.
