Mayor's Green Fair Takes Place In Ann Arbor This Evening

The 16th annual Mayor's Green Fair will take place from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM June 10th in Ann Arbor. 

 

To educate the public on how they can help with the city's climate action plan, green product demonstrations and environmental displays will be made available.

Mayor Christopher Taylor says to keep in mind road closures that will take place for the event from 3:00 PM to midnight.  

"Main street will be closed, there will be some kind of organic food being sold on Liberty Street, there will be some activity on Washington."

The official road closures for the event begin at three this afternoon in the following areas:  

  • South Main Street from William to Huron (to reopen at 11 p.m.).

  • Liberty Street from South Ashley to South Fourth Avenue. (to reopen at midnight) 

  • Washington Street from South Ashley to South Fourth Avenue. (to reopen at midnight) 

Also, the Ann Arbor Summer Festival's Top of the Park events will keep East Washington Street from Thayer to Fletcher will be closed from June 10th until July 3rd.  For more information on street closures, click here.
