Metro Detroit Muslim Youth Speak Out Against Orlando Nightclub Attack

A Muslim youth organization in Metro Detroit is speaking out against the violence in Orlando over the weekend.

 

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association of Metro Detroitplans to hold a prayer service Tuesday for victims of an Orlando nightclub shooting.

 

Mahir Osman is the group's vice president.

 

He says,

 

“First and foremost, we wish to condemn this act of violence and hatred to the fullest extent. We are mourning the loss of our American brothers and sisters, and of course, the other 50 individuals who are injured and are still in recovery we’re going to be praying for them wholeheartedly.”

The prayer service begins Tuesday night at 8:30 at the Ahmadiyya Community Centerin Rochester Hills.
