New Jersey Senator Cory Booker made a campaign stop for Hillary Clinton at Eastern Michigan University.

A crowd of about 250 people cheered during a rally at the student center as Clinton's name was shouted.  Senator Cory Booker encouraged people to not only register to vote but actually go out and vote.  He says Michigan will be key in the election.

"It's a purple state, and it really is one of those states. Should we not win Michigan, and I say this as a democrat, we can easily lose the White House."

Hollywood actress Danai Gurira from "The Walking Dead" also attended the event and spoke about what voting means to her.

"It's not just something that came to us. That right was fought for, especially. I'm a person of color. I'm a woman. It didn't just happen that I could vote and the idea of not exercising that civic responsibility to me is unfathomable."

Some of those who attended the rally like Trayveon McGuire are not happy with choosing between Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.

"Both candidates are lacking that sort of charisma, that energy that was sort of vital in 2008. We sort of don't have a candidate in this race like we did with Barack Obama."

Congresswoman Debbie Dingellfrom the 12th District also took part in the rally.
