Parking Lot Development Delayed Indefinitely
By Andrew Cluley
Ann Arbor, MI – Citing the number of residential and mixed-use developments recently approved for downtown Ann Arbor, city council has vote to indefinitely delay requests for proposals for the development of the Kline lot on South Ashley at William.
Downtown Development Authority Director Susan Pollay says the delay will allow city officials to request proposals once they have a better idea of what type of development they want.
Council had first asked for request for proposal preparation back in 2005, but had never officially requested proposals, after extending the deadline twice before this latest delay.
