President Donald Trump Makes Auto Industry Announcement In Ypsilanti Township

President Donald Trump announced today in Ypsilanti Township that he will roll back emission standards set by the Obama administration for the auto industry.

About 2,000 auto industry workers and supporters attended the event at the American Center for Mobility.  President Trump made promises.

"I'm going to fight for Michigan workers, I'm going to fight to keep the automobile production in the United States, not outside."

Jeff Jones works for an auto industry supplier and supports Trump in rolling back the emission standards.

"Just because you are going to try to force companies to raise their fuel emissions is not going to force consumers to buy those types of cars."

Others who attended said the President did not give enough details on how he plans to bring more jobs to America.
