| Attention Washtenaw County election candidates! |
It’s another Soapbox Summer on WEMU. If your name appears on Washtenaw County’s August 7th primary election ballot, WEMU offers you three minutes of free air time to tell voters why you should be elected.
Just record your best three-minute campaign message on an audio CD or MP3 computer file and sent it to WEMU by July 6th. Soapbox summer messages will be broadcast twice daily on WEMU during the last few weeks leading up to the August primary election.
Requirements:
1 . It must be the candidate’s voice delivering the message.
2. Recordings are voice only, and must be three minutes in duration.
3. Recordings must be on a standard audio CD or MP3 computer audio file.
4. Mail audio cds to: Soapbox Summer, WEMU, P.O. Box 980350, Ypsilanti, MI 48198-0350 (mail by July )
5. MP3 computer audio files should be sent as email attachments to: csmith@emich.edu (send by July 6)
6. Recordings will not be edited.
7. Poor quality recordings ( sound quality) will not air.
8. Recordings become the property of WEMU and will not be returned.
9. WEMU does not provide production facilities.
