As a member of MPRN, our Capitol staff covers the governor’s office and executive agencies, the Legislature, and appellate courts. The MI Public Radio Network is a consortium of 10 licensed public broadcasters with 31 transmitters serving nearly 900,000 listeners statewide. MPRN stations are committed to sharing resources to get news and information to public radio listeners all across Michigan.

The State of Politics: A Budget Windfall In Michigan And A Stalemate On Medicaid Reform

The State of Michigan gets a $315-million dollar windfall.  That money will be used in a budget that should be finalized in early June.  Working out the sticking points on Medicaid reform may take much longer.  Those are just two of the topics covered in 89.1 WEMU's 'The State of Politics."
