Ypsilanti City Council Rates City Manager's Job Performance

Ypsilanti City Council last night approved City Manager Ralph Lange's first performance evaluation.  
 
Council member Brian Robb chaired the committee that oversaw the review.  He says city council liked that when it hired Lange, Lange told them he "wanted to win the Super Bowl".
 
Robb says council told Lange during the evaluation that this was "the end of the first quarter".
 
He says Lange got good marks for public safety, economic development and the city budget.
 
Robb says council also gave Lange some direction on how to move the city forward in areas such as customer service and constituent connectivity.
