The demand for students looking for high-tech internships in Washtenaw County is growing as high-tech industries here grow. The Ann Arbor Spark-funded internship program run through EMU’s Center for Digital Engagement is seeing those numbers growing. Bud Gibson, director of the center, says they have about 48 internship positions to fill locally and expect some 400-500 applicants before the April 30th deadline.
