Michigan Irish Rep Theatre Presents U.S. Premiere of "Come On Home"
"Come On Home" was commissioned by The Abbey/Peacock Theatre in Dublin and premiered in 2018. The first play to focus on a family impacted by the sexual abuse scandal inside the Catholic Church, the Michigan Irish Rep is producing the U.S. premiere. Playwright Phillip McMahon has been called the "most astute chronicler or Irish life" in our midst. Poignant, powerful, funny at times and most of all hopeful, "Come On Home" is an important play.
