The AAATA Is Hosting Informational Get Togethers In Ann Arbor

The Ride

Representatives from the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority, also known as "The Ride," will pass out information on service improvements.

They will be at the Michigan Union bus station from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and at the Central Campus Transit Center from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  On May 1st, The Ride will make major changes that include new bus route names and numbers, as well as adding service in Scio and Pittsfield Townships.

Don Kline is an integrated marketing coordinator with The Ride and says they will hand out "Get Ready" guides to inform riders about all the changes.  The Ride provides 6.6 million rides a year.  This is the largest expansion the bus system has made since 1979.
