Ann Arbor Art Center Reopens With Limited Access

Ann Arbor Art Center

The Ann Arbor Art Center will launch a soft reopening Tuesday after closing its doors to the public because of COVID-19.

Residents will be able to visit the center’s first floor Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.  All those who enter the building will have to wear a mask and restrooms will not be available for public use.  Kate Robertson is the director of education for the center.

Kate Robertson: We’re starting the process of looking at plein air classes or outdoor painting classes, but also, small, in-person art classes.

Robertson says they hope to offer some of those in-person activities late this summer or early fall.
