It's "Earth Day" today, and a local organization is using the day to bring attention to "green burials."

The Ann Arbor-based "Green Burial Network" was formed to bring attention to more environmentally friendly ways to bury someone once they passed.  Merilynne Rush explains what makes a burial "green."

"No concrete liner, no embalming, and a biodegradable casket or container."

She says it is legal to bury a body "naturally" in every state, but is not very common.  There is only one cemetery in Washtenaw County that meets the requirements, and that is Marble Park in Milan.
