The Ann Arbor News Hits Newstands Once Again

Mlive

Ann Arbor.com ceased to exist today. As WEMU's Andrew Cluley reports the shift in online content to MLive coincides with a return to The Ann Arbor News moniker for the twice-weekly print edition.

For the first time in four yearsThe Ann Arbor News is providing the local news.

Ann Arbor.com has moved it's online content to M-Live and the twice-weekly print editions is going back to it's old name and is once again being called the Ann Arbor News.  Officials with news organization say the same local  coverage readers found on the dot-com will still be available at M-Live. The Ann Arbor News will also only be published on Thursdays and Sundays, just  like the print editions of Ann Arbor.com.

Like many, I first came to this area when I started school at the University of Michigan, then fell in love with the community and haven’t left. After graduating from U of M in the mid 1990’s I interned at WDET for several years, while also working a variety of jobs in Ann Arbor. Then in 1999 I joined the WEMU news team.
