Ann Arbor Resident Supported By Neighbors With Bottom Line Message 'We Don't Put Up With Hate'

"Wall of Flags" in Ann Arbor resident Susan Pearlman's neighborhood.

AnAnn Arbor woman expressing her support for the LGBT community is getting support from neighbors after receiving an anonymous letter concerning her public display of support.

Susan Pearlman has lived in Ann Arbor's Burns Park area for over 25 years and decided last June to hang a rainbow flag outside her home as a demonstration in support of gay rights.  But recently, she received an anonymous letter in her mailbox.

She shared what happened with fellow neighbors, and soon there were lots of rainbow flags hanging in the area.

At least 20 rainbow or peace flags now hang in Pearlman's Ann Arbor neighborhood.
