The Ann ArborPublicSchools Board of Education will have its first meeting tonight since voters approved a special education millage.
The district is expected to receive about $9.4 million after the Washtenaw Intermediate School Districtmillage passed on May 3rd. Board treasurer Andy Thomas says the funding will be discussed at the meeting.
"The payments that are distributed to us from WISD are going to cover something like 97% of our special education costs."
