The process has begun to look for a new Ann Arbor school board member.

Applications are now available to fill the school board seat being vacated by Donna Lasinski, who won a seat in the state House earlier this month.

School board applicants have until 4 PM November 28th to turn in an application, which should include a letter of intent and no more than two letters of recommendation addressed to the Board of Education.

Applicants will be interviewed by members of the Ann Arbor Board of Education on December 9th, and they will be required to make a brief statement of up to three minutes to the board at its December 14th meeting.

The community is invited to submit possible questions to be used in the interview process.
