Aretha Franklin Has No Issues With President's Misspelling

So, what's a dropped vowel among friends?

Aretha Franklin says she has no beef with President Barack Obama - even though he botched the spelling of her signature song last week.

At a White House concert last Thursday, Obama dropped the initial "E" when trying to spell out "Respect" as Franklin does in her song. In a statement, Franklin excused the mistake saying she's sure "the President had much on his agenda and was just a little tired."

The concert included Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Melissa Etheridge, Janelle Monae, Ariana Grande and Jill Scott.
