Winter Art Tour

On this week’s "Art & Soul," 89.1 WEMU’s Lisa Barry talks to Omari Rush, the executive director of CultureSource, and Cara Rosaen, the lead organizer of the Winter Art Tour, which is happening the weekend of December 8-10 in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti.

Rosaen talks about how the Art Tour came to be and what to expect.  She also talks about some incentives to go and explores several of the ten art shows that will be happening.   300 artists will be featured.

Some of the more fun events to see will be demos of glass blowing, as well as pot throwing… with the toes!

Rosaen also mentions just how important the Art Tour is to the cities of Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, especially because of how few art galleries are left in the cities.
