The Bernie Sanders campaign is getting ready for next Tuesday's Michigan presidential primary election

Over 150 canvassing shifts have been completed at the Ann Arbor office during the last two weeks.

Tim Ellis from Ann Arbor is among the volunteers who are going door to door.  He says this is when the rubber hits the road and they have to be extra active.  Ellis believes canvassing is the best way to get people interested in voting before the primary.

Over 266,000 people in Washtenaw County are registered to vote.
