The presidential candidates’ attention to Michigan continued on Monday. Former president Bill Clinton made campaign stops in Flint and Saginaw on behalf of his wife and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
Life-long Flint resident Anthanette Taylor was lined up to see Bill Clinton hours before he was scheduled to start. Taylor says she is ready to vote for Hillary Clinton, but wanted to hear what Bill Clinton had to say.
“The ills that are not just limited to Flint. I mean you know there’s ills all over the nation. But I just feel that Flint just needs to know that with everything we got goin’ on. We need Hillary in the White House."
Bill Clinton also laid out Hillary Clinton’s plans for jobs and the economy.
“Our grandchildren will never forgive us if we do not undertake a major plan to rebuild America’s roads and bridges and ports and airports and water systems.”
