Ann Arbor’s Mark “Mr. B” Braun has pedaled his custom made, 350 lbs piano bike over 1,000 miles along the Mississippi River - the half-way point of the journey! Mr. B’s Joybox Express and his cycle team have now entered day 42 on their 2,000 mile ride spread, an effort to raise awareness on the importance of music education and physical fitness.
The Mississippi River Ride departed from Lake Itasca on September 1st and will conclude their epic journey in New Orleans by November 15th. Many Midwest communities have already welcomed the traveling cyclists into their schools, homes, and musical venues, with the following to come:

- Osceola, AR, 10/25/14 – Parade and concert with Osceola Center for Arts & Heritage
- Memphis, TN, 11/2/14 – Parade and concert at ArtsMemphis Conservation Through Art Family Day
- Clarksdale, MS, 11/2/14
- Yazoo City, MS, 11/5/14
- Baton Rouge, LA, 11/12/14
- New Orleans, LA, 11/15/14
