A mailing mix-up has resulted in hundreds of YpsilantiTownshipvoters being told to go to the wrong polling place for next month's election.

The printing company hired by the township to send out election information accidentally used the wrong mailing list.

Karen Roe is Ypsilanti Township's Clerk.

"The reason they caught it is because we had sent out voter registration cards, telling them we had changed them and where their new districts were. As soon as they got the letter, like two weeks later, they thought, 'This is crazy.'"

Roe says the company has already agreed to send out a new letter with the correct information to affected voters.
