A One Mile Section Of The Border To Border Trail In Ann Arbor Will Close In July

WEMU

A heavily trafficked section of the Border to Border Trail will close next month for reconstruction.

A one mile area between the GeddesDam and the Gallup Park picnic shelter will close beginning July 5.

Ann Arbor officials say they apologize for the inconvenience to commuters and park visitors.  The trail closure will remain until the end of September. According to the city's press release,  those relying on this particular section of the trail to commute from Ypsilanti, should instead "continue north on Dixboro, west on Geddes, north on Earhart and west on Glacier Way."
