President Barack Obama Campaigns For Hillary Clinton In Ann Arbor

President Barack Obama made a campaign stop for Hillary Clinton Monday at the University of Michigan's Fisher baseball stadium. 
 

Chelsea Clinton made a surprised visit during the rally that attracted thousands of excited Barack Obama supporters.  She introduced the president who spoke about women's rights, college debt, and how he believes Donald Trump doesn't know working class people.  

Obama then reminded the crowd that his administration moved forward with the auto industry bailout in 2008.  

"I think I've earned some credibility here. Plants that were closing when I took office are working double shift's now."

Nargis Khan is an engineer for the auto industry.  She attended the rally and plans to vote for Hillary Clinton.

"Obama did step in and he saved General Motors and Chrysler. And now we are, here we are booming again, we have the auto industry, we have new cars coming in. So yes, the credit does go to democrats."

University of Michigan student Sierra Welly is a first time voter.  She waited in line for over two hours to see the president.

"This was an amazing experience. I was incredibly inspired, and I actually got emotional when he came out."

Congresswoman DebbieDingellfrom the 12th District, among other local politicians, also spoke in support of Clinton at the rally.
