Ann Arbor officials have started planning the final phase of the Stadium Boulevard reconstruction project.
Stadium between Hutchins and Kipke is all that remains to be done, but this may be the most challenging project. That's because this stretch includes Michigan Stadium, Pioneer High School, CrislerCenter, and the intersection with Main Street.
Senior Project Manager Mike Nearing says the work will take longer than the other stretches of Stadium took. "A two season construction project given the work of the project and all of the anchor institutions that are located very close to the project limits," Nearing says.
Roadwork won't begin until 2016, but an initial public meeting takes place Tuesday evening at seven at Lawton Elementary.
