There were Republican primary races for Lima Township Supervisor and the Township Board of Trustees.
Duane Luick has won the Republican Primary and will be unopposed in November for a first term as Lima Township Supervisor. Luick defeated incumbent Craig Maier 299-225.
Greg McKenzie and Dale Luick took the top two spots for Lima Township Board of Trustees in the Republican primary, defeating Bob Spink. Current trustee David Hensel did not seek relection and, the other current trustee, Duane Luick, won the race for Township Supervisor. The two winners will not face a democratic challenge in November.
