The University of Michigan's Department of Occupational Safety and Environmental Health plans to test the drinking water on campus.

The university says there are no indications of problems with the water.  But they will test for levels of lead and copper in all of their buildings in Ann Arbor as a precaution.  The testing will take place during the summer, and results should be available starting in mid-July.

U-M says they will conduct the test as a result of the Flint water crisis.  Drinking water has already been tested on both the U-M campus in Flint and Dearborn.

The Ann Arbor campus gets its water from the city of Ann Arbor.
