The University of Michigan's Museum of Natural History is trying to raise money for a new woolly mammoth exhibit.
The goal is to raise $12,000 through a crowdfunding campaign on the museum's website. Amy Harris is the museum's director. She says the money will be used to add some enhancements to the exhibit.
"We're going to add touchable components and 3-D digital scan of some of the bones so people can interact with them. They can spin the bones and zoom in and look at them really closely."
Harris says they'd also use it to design educational programs for school field trips.
