Washtenaw County Road Commission Names New Managing Director

May 22, 2018

The Washtenaw County Road Commission has named a new managing director.

Sheryl Soderholm Siddall will replace the current managing director, Roy Townsend, when he retires next month.  Her short-term priority is to have a smooth transition.  She explains her long term goals.

"We need to continue to improve our current road system.  We need to educate the public on the things that we do on a daily basis.  And certainly continue to seek additional funding to improve the road and bridge system that we have in Washtenaw County," said Soderholm Siddall.

Soderholm Siddall is currently the director for engineering for the commission.
