Whitmore Lake School District Voters Pass Millage And Sinking Fund Question

A 10-year, 1-mill tax levy has won approval in the Whitmore Lake Public Schools.

The district will use the money to create a sinking fund that allows for the purchase of renovating existing buildings in the district and the purchase of property for expansion. The tax will be collected from 2018 to 2027 and is expected to generate nearly $350,000 in the first year.
