Ypsilanti Community Schools Students to Show Off good Sleep Habits

Creative Commons

Students at the Ypsilanti Community Schools' Ford Early Learning Center this week will put what they've learned about the importance of developing good sleep habits to work.

Sweet Dreamzzz, Inc. will be at Ford Early Learning Center Wednesday morning in a visit that coincides with National Sleep Awareness Week ®.

The organization visited the school in January, instructing preschool students on getting ready for bed.  The instruction incorporated book reading, brushing teeth and preparing a peaceful sleep environment.

The younger students were given goodie bags that included a teddy bear, toothbrush, toothpaste, a book and a sticker chart to help them track their routine.

On Wednesday, the students will model the good sleep habits they learned in January.
