Ypsilanti District Library Expands Offline Ways For People To Contact Them During COVID-19 Pandemic

Ypsilanti District Library

As the coronavirus keeps local libraries closed and forces them to move their operations online, the Ypsilanti District Library is taking steps to ensure those without internet access can still receive important information.

The library has set up an e-mail service and phone line people can use to contact them.

Library spokesman Sam Killian says the service is being used to provide people with updates about COVID-19, as well as information about important local resources.

“We really wanted to make sure that people were able to get that information even if they could follow us online,” Killian says.

Killian says people can reach them by calling 734-879-1318 or e-mailing them at YDLCOVIDHELP@YPSILIBRARY.ORG.
