  Ypsilanti residents can now weigh in on how the city's police department can improve by taking an online survey.

A dialogue on institutional racism was held Thursday at Eastern Michigan University. Around two hundred students filled the auditorium at McKenny Hall to take part in the discussion. All Things Considered host Lisa Barry spoke with WEMU reporter Amanda LeClaire about what happened at the event.

Charges Against Ypsi Activist Anthony Morgan Dropped

Ypsilanti has dropped charges against a community activist.

Prosecutors had charged Ypsilanti resident Anthony Morgan with interfering with police and disturbing the peace after he was arrested during a vigil for the victims of the Charleston church shooting in June. Morgan, who is black, was the only person arrested by police out of the dozens who attended.
