EMU Adds Bachelor Of Science In Civil Engineering

Eastern Michigan University will now offer a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.  Eastern's Board of Regents approved the new academic program Thursday during a regularly scheduled meeting.  University President James Smith says it's a field that's in high demand in Michigan.

Eastern Michigan University's Board of Regents approved a gift of $8 million on Friday to build a new golf facility on campus.  The project will be entirely funded by the EMU alumni group "GameAbove."  University President James Smith reiterates what the group told Eastern when they made their financial commitment.
