A Town Hall on "Medicare For All" will be held in Ypsilanti on Saturday.  The panel discussion and audience Q & A will feature Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, State Representatives Yousef Rabhi and Ronnie Peterson, and State Senator Jeff Irwin.  Irwin joined WEMU's David Fair to discuss how the need for, and the barriers to, a path forward to national health care coverage.

12th Congressional District Representative Debbie Dingell is co-sponsor of the Medicare For All Act of 2019.  The bill has been introduced in Congress and is now getting hearings.  On Saturday, July 13th, the Dearborn Democrat will serve on a panel of lawmakers at a Town Hall on "Medicare for All" in Ypsilanti.  Dingell shared her perspective in a conversation with 89.1 WEMU's David Fair.

A community forum is planned for Tuesday evening, March 28th to gather input for the creation of a Community "Unity" Mural being planned for the Eastern Michigan University campus.

A protest was held this morning at Eastern Michigan University as a result of the racist graffiti that was found on campus Monday.
