Michigan Primary Elections

With nearly 69-percent of the vote, Colton A. Campbell defeated Ora Wright and won the Republican Primary in the 54th State House District.

Incumbent Ronnie Peterson found himself on a rather crowded ballot in the democratic race for the 54th district state house seat. Peterson is finishing up his first term in office now, and faced a challenge from three other candidates.

1st District:  Incumbent Kent Martinez-Kratz has been defeated. Jason Maciejewski won the Democratic primary winning nearly 58-percent voter support. He will face Republican Rod Anderson in November. Anderson was unopposed Tuesday.
