Election day is coming up soon.  Even though voters are mainly focused on the presidential primary, other issues are on ballot as well, including a 10-year millage for Washtenaw Community College (WCC).  WEMU's David Fair has a conversation with WCC president Dr. Rose Bellanca about why this millage must be approved.

Washtenaw Community College's Board of Trustees has approved another contract extension for the school's current president. Dr. Rose Bellanca has served as WCC's president since 2011. Under the new agreement she will continue to serve through 2018.

Washtenaw Community College faculty has overwhelmingly approved a no confidence vote for the school's president, but she still has the support of trustees.
