Former WXYZ-TV Channel 7 anchor and Detroit news legend, Bill Bonds, passed away last weekend.  WEMU remembers him as the dominant force that he was in Southeast Michigan for nearly thirty years.  Today he will be memorialized fondly as he is laid to rest.

I had an opportunity to sit down with a longtime coworker of Mr. Bonds, Eastern Michigan University's VP for Communications Walter Kraft, to talk about his life and legacy.
