A little rain might be the least of your worries during trick-or-treating this evening.
DTE Energy warns of the potential for high winds, and suggests people who will be out trick-or-treating this evening get their goodie-grabbing done earlier rather than later, when winds will pick up.
High winds can lead to downed power lines.
DTE spokesperson Erica Donerson says if you come across a downed power line, stay away from it.
She says if the winds become strong in your area, it may be better to stay inside rather than risk coming across a downed power line.
