Ypsilanti Now Has Curbside Recycling Pick-Ups For Unwanted Clothing And Household Items
As of today, the city of Ypsilanti has a new service that will help protect the environment.
Ypsilanti is now offering free curbside recycling pick-ups for unwanted clothing and household items such as toys, books and sheets.
They partnered with Simple Recycling for the service that will be offered on regular trash pick-up days.
Ypsilanti city manager Ralph Lange says the program will help the environment because 85% of clothing and household items end up in landfills.
Simple Recycling will mail bags to homes so residents can use use them for pick-ups.
