What drew me to WEMU: Music of course, but also integrity and independence.
What I do daily at work: I listen to lots of music and try to figure out the best and most creative ways to present it to you.
Favorite place to eat: I am generally a pretty big fan of The Wurst Bar's rotating "Special Of the Day"
The one song that is stuck in my head: Frankenstein by the Edgar Winter Group has been on replay in my head for at least 20 years. I have learned to live with it.
The album I think people need to hear: Time Out Of Mind by Bob Dylan
Favorite place to shop: Encore Records in Ann Arbor
Favorite vacation destination: My vacations are usually to a music festivals in the South. My favorites are probably Merlefest in North Carolina, Red Wing Roots in Virginia and Muddy Roots in Tennessee.

The last film I saw: Mavis! HBO documentary about Mavis Staples.
Most memorable moment at WEMU thus far: I love having live musical guests in the studio like Jim Lauderdale, John Doe and others.
I love public radio because: It has different priorities than commercial media. It can concentrate on music for the sake of music. It is beholden to nobody but the public.
